A decision guide for busy households.
Choose weekly cleaning if you have kids, pets, a full house or you work from home. Choose bi-weekly if you are out most days and the home stays fairly tidy. Both start at $125 per visit with JNC, so the difference over a year is mostly how many visits you pay for. Here is how to decide, what each choice costs, and what slips in the weeks between visits.
It depends on how fast your home gets back to where you want it. Weekly keeps it there. Bi-weekly gets you there every other week, and you tidy in between.
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Kids at home | Weekly | Floors, kitchens and bathrooms get used hard |
| Pets that shed | Weekly | Hair and dander build up quickly |
| Working from home | Weekly | The home is in use all day |
| Two adults out most days | Bi-weekly | Less daily wear between visits |
| Tidy household, light use | Bi-weekly or monthly | A reset is enough |
| Second home or guest room | Monthly | Low daily use |
If you land between two rows, start with the more frequent schedule. It is easy to step down later, because recurring plans run month to month and you can change a visit with 24 hours' notice.
Using JNC's starting prices, the yearly math looks like this. Your own quote depends on bedrooms and bathrooms, so treat this as a floor, not a final number.
| Plan | Visits per year | Starting price per visit | Yearly total at the starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 52 | $125 | $6,500 |
| Bi-weekly | 26 | $125 | $3,250 |
| Monthly | 12 | $225 | $2,700 |
Bi-weekly costs half as much as weekly because it means half as many visits. Monthly has a higher per-visit price because it is a deeper clean, with baseboards, cabinet fronts, the inside of the microwave, light fixtures and window sills added to the standard clean. Your quote shows the exact price for each frequency, so ask for two and compare.
The same things, in the same order.
With a bi-weekly plan, a quick wipe of the bathroom sink and the kitchen counters on off weeks stretches the clean. With weekly, you barely need to.

A weekly visit is a full standard clean every time, with the same cleaner on the same day. One rotating deep task, such as the oven, the fridge or baseboards, is included monthly. Supplies are included. You can read the full list on the weekly cleaning page.
A monthly plan takes 2.5 to 4 hours and covers the deeper work in one reset. If you are moving from monthly to something more frequent, a first deep clean is a good starting point so recurring visits begin from a clean baseline.
A weekly visit follows the same checklist each time. Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, the outside of appliances, cabinet fronts wiped and floor. Bathrooms: toilet, tub and shower, sink, mirror, fixtures polished and floor. Bedrooms: beds made or changed with linens provided, surfaces dusted and floor. Living areas: dusting, surfaces, glass, floors vacuumed and mopped. Trash goes out, light switches and handles are wiped, and the visit ends with a walk-through and a photo check.
Because the same cleaner returns on the same day, the visit gets faster and more precise over time. They know where things live and which spots need attention.
For most households, no. It suits a narrow group: large families, a home office with visitors, a small inn, or a short-term rental with back-to-back bookings. Daily visits are 45 to 90 minutes and start at $75 per visit with a five-day minimum. Each day covers the kitchen, bathrooms, beds, floors and trash, and a weekly rotation adds one deeper task per day. If that sounds like your home, see the daily cleaning plan.
A deep clean first is a sound way to begin any recurring plan. The deep clean starts at $250 and handles the build-up that a routine visit does not: baseboards, the inside of the oven and fridge, grout and window sills. After that, weekly or bi-weekly visits only have to maintain, not catch up.
Two minutes of tidying makes a standard clean go further. Put away toys, papers and loose items so surfaces are clear, and tell your cleaner about any changes, such as a new pet, a guest staying over, or a room that needs extra attention. If you give us a code or key, we handle the rest and log every entry.
Yes. There is no contract, and you can reschedule or skip a visit with 24 hours' notice at no charge. Many households start weekly while things are hectic and move to bi-weekly when life calms down, or the other way around.
Two signs. If the home feels behind a day or two after each visit, move to a more frequent schedule. If it still looks clean on the morning of your next visit, move to a less frequent one. Either change is easy, because plans run month to month, and your cleaner can tell you what they see each time.
If you can say yes to two or more of "kids, pets, working from home, hosting guests," start weekly. If not, start bi-weekly. If you are unsure about the price, the quote form shows both numbers for your home without a site visit.
