In Lynchburg, a standard house cleaning with JNC starts at $125 and a deep clean starts at $250. Recurring service starts at $125 per visit for weekly (bi-weekly is available), $225 for monthly, and $75 per visit for daily service with a five-day minimum. Your exact price depends on bedrooms, bathrooms and how often you book. This guide shows what changes the number and how to tell whether a quote is fair.

These are JNC's real starting prices. "Starting" means the smallest home on that plan; larger homes cost more, and your quote shows the exact figure before you book.

What changes the price of a house cleaning?

Four things move the number more than anything else.

  • Home size. Bedrooms and bathrooms drive the time a clean takes, so they drive the price.
  • Frequency. How often you book is part of the flat price, so ask for a quote at two different frequencies and compare them.
  • Condition. A first visit, a move-out or a home that has gone a few months without a proper clean usually calls for a deep clean rather than a standard one.
  • Add-ons. Inside the oven, inside the fridge and interior windows are common extras. Laundry can be added as well.

Pets matter too. They do not usually change the price on their own, but tell your cleaner where they will be and any house rules. Heavy pet hair or unusual conditions are worth mentioning up front so the quote is right.

Is it better to pay hourly or a flat rate?

Hourly pricing sounds fair, but it leaves you guessing. A slow day costs you more, and the total is unknown until the invoice arrives. A flat rate sets the price by bedrooms, bathrooms and frequency, so you know the total before the visit.

JNC prices this way. You get the price before the booking, and it does not change unless you add services. If the space turns out to be materially different from what you described, such as a larger home or a heavier condition, we tell you before starting rather than after.

Do I need a site visit to get a quote?

Rarely. Most homes are quoted from the quote form, and we text you a flat price with no obligation. Very large homes and post-construction jobs get a quick walk-through first, because those are the cases where a form cannot capture the work involved.

Does booking more often change the price?

Frequency is one of the three inputs to the flat price, along with bedrooms and bathrooms. A weekly or bi-weekly home has less to catch up on each visit, and the same cleaner learns your home, which tends to make visits smoother. The starting price for a weekly visit and a one-time standard clean is the same, $125, so the real question is whether you want a clean once or a home that stays at a baseline.

If you are not sure, a weekly plan is the most popular choice, and a monthly plan suits tidy households that want the deeper work done on a schedule.

How can I tell whether a quote is fair?

Price alone does not tell you much. Compare these before you say yes.

  1. What is included. Ask for a room-by-room list. A written checklist is a good sign.
  2. Supplies. At JNC the cleaning supplies are included, and if you prefer your own products you can leave them out.
  3. Insurance and screening. Ask whether the company is licensed and insured and whether team members are background-checked. JNC is, and they are.
  4. A guarantee. If something was missed, you should be able to say so and get it fixed. JNC returns within 24 hours of your report at no charge.
  5. Flexibility. Skipping or moving a visit with 24 hours' notice is free with JNC, and recurring plans run month to month with no contract.
  6. How it is checked. We photo-check the work before we leave.

A low number that leaves out the oven, the baseboards or the guarantee is not a lower price, it is a smaller job.

Why do quotes for the same house differ so much?

Usually the scope is different, not the price. One company may price a quick surface clean while another prices a full checklist with baseboards, cabinet fronts and floors. Others leave out supplies, or leave out insurance, and the difference shows up in the number. Two quotes are only comparable when they cover the same list of tasks, so ask each company to write down what the visit includes.

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

A standard clean covers the everyday surfaces: kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors, dusting and trash. A deep clean adds the work that does not fit in a routine visit: baseboards, the inside of the oven and fridge, grout, window sills, cabinet fronts and light fixtures. That is why the deep clean starts at $250 instead of $125.

For a first visit, a move-in or move-out, or a spring reset, the deep clean is usually the better choice. Once the home is at a baseline, a standard or recurring plan keeps it there for less.

How should I get ready for the first visit?

A few small steps make the visit go further.

  • Clear the surfaces you want wiped, such as counters and the floor. A cleaner can only clean what is reachable.
  • Tell us where pets will be and any rules for the home.
  • Leave a code or key if you will not be home. We log every entry and exit.
  • Mention anything fragile or off limits, and anything you want extra attention on.
